Caught in Traffic Hollowed curves darken and pool over my eye,    
Skin of rushing leaves and the trees flowing by,        
The passing shadows of dark knights,                
Translucent under the cold streetlights,                  
And the lamp floods the darkness with its bright cry.

Concealing bright lights dance over and around,            
Wingbeats of engines flickering out dead sound,          
The wind lashes in broken rills,                        
Whirling down in vicious circles,                                
And pools emptily on the disappearing ground.

A surreal dreamscape...

This is what I was working on here - the colours are actually much more accurate there, I think it's the blueish background preventing me balancing it all properly.

Prismacolours on black paper

More of the same theme as Paper Birds
I quite like this style :D and I'm very pleased with the water.

Well, THIS one is due to the success of Paper Birds, partly. Also, I was practicing eyes and then realised that a) I didn't want to draw a face and b) the overall shape (ignoring the iris/eyeball itself) could be extended to create a beak and neck... and, then it was just fun from there :D
