Practicing fanart...
Read the first few books, but most of my awareness of this character comes, interestingly, from the fanart on DA (and there is sooo much >.> ). But I have been wanting to try that posture for a while, apples (OR CHERRIES) came from a recent foray into making *ryuuseisui draw - and it fitted the story, so that was lucky
- and wings from some of the things =Arkillian was saying.
I was going to get more symbolic and add golden chains (because I wanted to use more gold. I HAS A PENCIL OF IT, YOU KNOW) or spiderwebs, but that would have... I think, changed the whole feeling from 'flight/perched' to 'trapped and ensnared' which I don't mind, except that I like, and was aiming for, the 'flight/freedom' impression.
Clothing is the same, I checked against a book cover, hair sort of goes the same way etc... tshirt is meant to be merging with the feathers.
Time and Tools
Lunchtime and this evening, so 2-3 hours.
