Sketch

Trying to repaint Waterborn [link]

Would REALLY appreciate Crit.
A still working from the sketch/will go back to it at the end for the details, so criticism on this or both or the sketch are all helpful.

Need to add the actual limb on the back wing.
So; face? Head shape? Posture? Movement? Hair or no hair? Arm-wings working? Colour? Composition? Trueness to original work?

Try not to lose too many of the lines from the drawing, they really gave it movement, and maybe erase some of the blue at the bottom to give her body more of a curved line? All in all it's coming on very nicely though! :D

Cool colors bro. I guess don't freak out with the smudge tool this time like you did with the last picture. That will make it look more professional at least, but I see you are already starting to.

Ahahha, oh goodness, yes. I used that tool almost exclusively for every part of everything around that time. Yeah, I've learnt to balance my techniques a bit now :D (Oh, it wasn't smudge tool, exactly, it's a soft palette knife - it doesn't do quite the same thing as the Photoshop tool)

Also, at this size, my computer can't handle a big enough knife width to blend it properly anyway.

gah! Actual right wing or on-the-right wing?
If you mean the near one, her actual right wing...hmm. oh, dear, well, is it the petering out at the tip? - it's supposed to continue a lot further horizontally of the page and I was sort of ignoring that section for later, so I didn't realise how it currently looks.
