Got bored while painting =SilaZ's kiriban and started sketching. Then coloured underneath using the pen tool...
I think the mermaids on the bottom right are my favourite, but the lady on the left has an entire story ... although I can't decide if she's the cynical dreamer or the bitter drunk, or the lonely unrequited lover...

The winged one in the centre was an excuse to draw contortions and wings - the head and sword are random and thrown on just to finish her.

The mermaid at the top is both a space filler and a pose I've been wondering about for a few days.

And that? That's how I make sense of my sketches

Almost. They're TIDY sketches here, and usually I paint over them or fade them out so they don't interfere with my painted edges and shapes...

Maybe 30-50 minutes in ArtRage, I was having fun so I didn't really notice.

Crit is welcome, just bear in mind they're rushed sketches, deliberately left as sketches... sort of concept ideas and practice.
(oh, for the two in the corner - blondie has the green tail. Just noticed it could be either way round, from a distance)
